Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 August 2026 · Applies to findmydance.app and related services

Plain-language summary: FindMyDance is where you find and book dance classes. The classes themselves are run by studios and teachers, not by us — your booking is an agreement with them. You pay the studio directly, so refunds and cancellations follow that studio’s policy. Dance is physical activity: take care of yourself, and tell your teacher about injuries or conditions.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and FindMyDance (“we”, “us”), covering your use of findmydance.app and everything we offer through it. By creating an account, booking a class, or listing classes, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform.

Some sections apply to everyone, and some apply only to dancers or only to studios and teachers — each is labelled. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these terms.

Operated by: Aurum Services LLC, 680 South Cache Street, Jackson, WY 83001, United States (registered in Wyoming, United States; filing ID 2018-000830931).

2. What FindMyDance is — and isn’t

FindMyDance is a marketplace. We help dancers discover classes and help studios and teachers list, fill and manage them. That is the whole of our role, and it matters for everything below.

We are not the provider of the classes. Studios and teachers are independent businesses. They set their own prices, schedules, class levels, cancellation policies and house rules; they employ or engage their own teachers; they are responsible for their premises, equipment, insurance, licences and for the safety and quality of what they teach.

When you book, your agreement for that class is with the studio or teacher, not with us. We are not a party to it. We don’t supervise classes, verify teaching qualifications, or guarantee that a class will run, will suit you, or will be as described.

We don’t handle your money.Payments go directly from you to the studio — by VietQR transfer, bank transfer, or cash at the studio. We are not a payment processor, we never hold funds on anyone’s behalf, and we cannot move, hold back, or refund money between you and a studio.

We do work to keep listings trustworthy — approving studios before they go live, and removing listings that break these terms — but that is moderation, not a guarantee.

3. Your account

  • You must be 16 or over to hold an account. If you’re booking a class for a child, book it as the parent or guardian.
  • Give accurate details and keep them current — your name, phone number and email are how studios identify you at the desk and reach you if a class changes.
  • Your account is yours alone. Keep your PIN and any sign-in codes private, and don’t let anyone else use your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
  • You’re responsible for what happens under your account, unless it’s the result of our failure.
  • One person, one account. Studios and teachers may hold an additional account for their business.

4. Booking a class

This section is for dancers.

When you book, you’re asking the studio for a place in that class. A booking is confirmed once the studio has confirmed it and — where payment is required up front — recorded your payment as received.

  • Courses are sold as a set number of sessions and are booked as a whole, not session by session.
  • Drop-ins and workshops are booked for a single session.
  • Waitlistsmean a place isn’t held for you. If one comes free we’ll let you know, and places usually go in order, but the studio decides.

Studios can cancel or reschedule a session — for illness, low numbers, a venue problem, or anything else. We’ll notify you of changes we’re told about. What you’re owed in that situation is between you and the studio, under their policy.

Turn up on time and follow the studio’s rules on footwear, equipment and behaviour. A studio may refuse entry or ask someone to leave, and may set a class level that a dancer needs to meet.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Vietnamese dong (VND) and set by the studio. The price shown on a class is what that studio has published — for a course, that’s the price of the whole course.

You pay the studio directly. Depending on what the studio accepts, that may be a VietQR or bank transfer, or cash at the desk. Where a transfer needs proof, you upload it and the studio reviews and approves it; until they do, your payment shows as pending and your place isn’t secured.

Because the money never passes through us, the studio’s record of what it received is the one that counts. If a payment you made isn’t showing, or is showing wrongly, raise it with the studio first — we can help you reach them, but we can’t settle it for you.

Bank or transfer fees charged by your own bank are yours to pay.

6. Cancellations, refunds and no-shows

Each studio sets its own cancellation and refund policy, and that policy governs. Check it before you book — deadlines, whether a course is transferable, and what happens if you miss a session all vary from studio to studio.

Because we never hold the money, we cannot issue refunds, reverse a charge, or compel a studio to refund you. A refund comes from the studio, by whatever method you paid.

If you don’t attend a session you’ve booked, whether it’s credited or lost is the studio’s decision under its policy. Where a studio cancels a session, we’d expect a credit, a replacement session or a refund — but again, that is the studio’s call.

Nothing here removes rights you have under Vietnamese consumer protection law, which apply regardless of a studio’s policy.

7. Health, safety and physical risk

Dance is physical activity, and it carries a risk of injury. Some styles listed here — heels, acro, chair, pole-adjacent and partner work among them — carry particular risk, and classes may involve lifts, floor work, inversions or contact with other dancers.

  • You take part at your own risk. Only book classes suitable for your fitness, ability and health.
  • If you have an injury, a medical condition, or you’re pregnant or recently postnatal, get medical advice before booking, and tell the teacher before class.
  • Stop if something hurts. Follow the teacher’s instructions and the studio’s safety rules.
  • Some styles are adult-oriented in theme or movement. Studios should say so in the listing; check the description and any age guidance before booking.

If you use the optional note when booking to tell a studio about an injury, a pregnancy or another condition, we pass it to that studio and to the teacher taking the class, so they can help you train more safely. We don’t give medical advice and we don’t assess whether a class is right for you, and telling a studio doesn’t guarantee it can accommodate a particular condition — that stays a decision between you, your doctor and the studio.

Responsibility for safe premises, safe teaching and appropriate insurance sits with the studio or teacher running the class. We don’t inspect premises or supervise classes.

8. Terms for studios and teachers

This section applies if you list classes.

Getting listed

New studios are reviewed before going live. We may decline or remove a listing at our discretion — for example where we can’t verify the business, or where a listing is misleading.

Your responsibilities

  • You run a real, lawful dance business and hold whatever registrations, licences, permits and insurance Vietnamese law requires of it.
  • Your listings are accurate and current — prices, times, levels, location, teacher, and how many sessions a course includes. Keep the schedule up to date, and don’t leave classes listed that you aren’t running.
  • You publish a clear cancellation and refund policy, and you honour it.
  • You deliver the classes you sell, to the standard you advertise, with teachers competent to teach them.
  • You review and record payments honestly and promptly — a dancer waiting on approval can’t take their place.
  • You handle your students’ personal data lawfully, use it only to run their bookings and your classes, and don’t sell it or use it for unrelated marketing without consent.
  • You’re responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
  • You only add teachers and staff who’ve agreed to appear, and you keep their profiles accurate.

What we charge

Depending on what we’ve agreed with you, we charge a percentage of bookings taken through the platform, a recurring plan fee, or both. Your current rate and plan are shown in your admin area, and we invoice you for them.

Because dancers pay you directly, our fees are billed to you separately rather than deducted from anything — we hold no funds to deduct from. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. We may suspend a listing while an invoice is overdue.

We may change fees or plan prices on 30 days’ notice. If you don’t accept a change, you can close your account before it takes effect.

Your listings on the platform

You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to display, resize and promote your listings, photos, class descriptions and studio and teacher profiles on FindMyDance and in marketing for it. This permission ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for copies already in backups or in published material we can’t reasonably recall.

9. Content you post

This covers reviews, messages, photos, class descriptions and anything else you add. You keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to host and display it in order to run the platform.

  • Post only what’s yours to post, and don’t upload photos of other people without their agreement.
  • Reviews should reflect a genuine experience. Don’t write reviews of your own studio, pay for reviews, or post reviews of a competitor.
  • No content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that reveals someone else’s private information.

We can remove content that breaks these rules, and we may do so without notice where it’s harmful. We don’t routinely check everything posted, and we’re not responsible for what users write.

10. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • Use FindMyDance for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone.
  • Make bookings you don’t intend to honour, or list classes you don’t intend to run.
  • Impersonate another person, studio or teacher, or claim a studio or teacher profile that isn’t yours.
  • Scrape, copy or bulk-extract listings, profiles or contact details, or use the platform to build a competing database.
  • Interfere with the platform’s operation or security, or try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
  • Use contact details you obtain here to send unsolicited marketing.

11. Intellectual property

The FindMyDance name, logo, design and software are ours. These terms don’t give you any right to use them beyond using the platform normally — studios and teachers may say they’re listed on FindMyDance and link to their page.

If you believe something here infringes your copyright or trademark, contact us at info@findmydance.app with enough detail to identify the content and your rights in it, and we’ll review it.

12. Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time from your account settings. If you’re a studio, please see out or properly cancel any bookings already taken before you go.

We may suspend or close an account, or remove listings, where someone breaks these terms, where an account is being used fraudulently or unsafely, where invoices go unpaid, or where we’re required to by law. Except where the problem is serious or urgent, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

Closing an account doesn’t cancel obligations already incurred — bookings taken, fees owed, or refunds due to dancers.

13. Disclaimers and liability

We provide FindMyDance with reasonable care and skill, but we don’t promise the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features.

We’re not responsible for the acts or omissions of studios, teachers or dancers. In particular we’re not liable for:

  • The quality, safety or legality of a class, or whether it runs at all.
  • Injury, loss or damage arising from taking part in a class or being on a studio’s premises.
  • Payments, refunds or disputes between a dancer and a studio.
  • Content posted by users, including listings and reviews.

Where we are liable to you, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 2.000.000 ₫ if you paid us nothing. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost business.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under Vietnamese consumer protection law.

14. Disputes between users

If something goes wrong with a class or a payment, raise it with the studio directly first — most things are settled that way, and you can message them through the platform.

If that doesn’t resolve it, tell us at info@findmydance.app. We’ll help both sides reach each other and we’ll act on patterns we see — including removing a studio that repeatedly lets dancers down. But we can’t adjudicate, and we can’t move money.

15. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. For changes that materially affect you we’ll give notice by email or in-app before they take effect — for studios, at least 30 days for changes to fees or obligations. Continuing to use FindMyDance after a change takes effect means you accept it.

The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.

16. Governing law

FindMyDance is operated by Aurum Services LLC, registered in Wyoming, United States, but it serves dancers and studios in Vietnam. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, and disputes we can’t resolve between us go to the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City. Nothing here affects the protections Vietnamese consumer law gives you regardless of what a contract says.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
